Answer
The blues rock band West, Bruce and Laing was formed in 1972 by Leslie West, formerly of Mountain, along with Cream bassist Jack Bruce and drummer Corky Laing of Mountain. The power trio released three studio albums before disbanding in 1974, but their influence on the genre continues to be felt today.
