Jackie Stewart finished as runner-up in the World Drivers' Championships twice, in 1968 and 1973. In 1968, he lost to Graham Hill by 12 points, and in 1973, he lost to Emerson Fittipaldi by 16 points. Stewart was a highly successful driver, winning three World Drivers' Championships in 1969, 1971, and 1973. He is considered one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time.
