James C. Brown (August 19, 1894 – May 20, 1971) was an American farmer, inventor, and politician. Born in a small town in Virginia, Brown moved to Florida in the early 1900s and began farming. He became known for his innovative farming techniques, and he was also an inventor. Brown was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 1940 and served for four years.
