Jan Ullrich won the Vuelta a España in 1999. The Vuelta a España is a multi-stage road cycling race held annually in Spain. It is one of the three Grand Tours, along with the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France. Ullrich won the race by a margin of over six minutes. This was his second Grand Tour victory, after winning the Tour de France in 1997.
