Yes, she did. Jeanne de La Tour d'Auvergne, known as Jeanne d'Albret, was the Queen of Navarre and the mother of King Henry IV of France. She was a Huguenot, a Protestant Christian, and she converted to Catholicism in 1560 in order to marry Antoine de Bourbon, a Catholic. After her conversion, she joined the Huguenot side in the French Wars of Religion.
