Answer
Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne founded Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) in 1970. The group was originally known as The Move, but Wood left the group in 1972 to form Wizzard. Lynne then took over as the band's leader and main songwriter. ELO went on to become one of the most successful rock bands of all time, selling over 50 million albums worldwide.
