Jerry Lee Lewis made his first recordings at J&M Studio in New Orleans. The studio was founded by Cosimo Matassa and was a popular spot for recording artists in the 1950s. Lewis recorded his first single, "Crazy Arms", at the studio in 1957. The single was a hit and helped launch Lewis' career.
