Jerry Sloan played 11 seasons in the NBA as a player for the Chicago Bulls and the Washington Bullets. After his playing career, he became a successful coach, leading the Utah Jazz for 23 seasons. Known for his defensive-minded coaching style, Sloan was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
