Leszek Miller was the Prime Minister of Poland after Jerzy Buzek. He served in this position from 1996 to 2001. Miller was a member of the Social Democratic Party of Poland (SdRP). During his time in office, he oversaw the introduction of a number of social reforms, including the introduction of a minimum wage and the expansion of the welfare state.
