Jetsun Pema is the wife of the current king of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. She was born in 1990 and is the daughter of former king Jigme Singye Wangchuck and his fourth wife, Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck. Jetsun Pema was educated in Bhutan and the United Kingdom. She married the king in 2011 and they have two children, a son and a daughter.
