Jill Ireland began her acting career in the 1950s. She first appeared in a small role in the film "The Desert Song" in 1953. She then went on to appear in a number of other films and television shows, including "The Untouchables" and "The Saint." She also had a successful singing career, releasing several albums in the 1960s. Ireland died of cancer in 1990 at the age of 56.
