Member. João Havelange was a Brazilian lawyer and sports administrator who served as the seventh President of FIFA, the international governing body of association football, from 1974 to 1998. He was a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from 1963 until his resignation in 2011, and was its Honorary President from 2012 until his death in 2016.
