Joe Glick had two Junior Lightweight Title shots. He first challenged for the title in 1940, losing to Sammy Angott. He got another chance in 1942, but again came up short, this time against Beau Jack. Despite his unsuccessful title bids, Glick had a successful career, winning 146 of his 201 fights.
