Jony Ive, the chief design officer of Apple , left the company in July 2019. He had been with the company since 1996 and was responsible for the design of many of Apple's most iconic products, including the iMac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad. His departure was a surprise to many, but it is believed that he wanted to focus on his own design firm, LoveFrom.
