Lubowitz Castle is located in Lower Silesia, Poland. It was built in the 14th century and was owned by the Silesian Piast dynasty. The castle is associated with the poet Joseph von Eichendorff, who was born in Lubowitz in 1788. Eichendorff's father was the lord of Lubowitz Castle, and the poet spent much of his childhood there. The castle is now a museum and is open to the public.
