The Jerusalem Prize is an international literary prize awarded annually by the Jerusalem Foundation to authors who have made an outstanding contribution to world literature. It was established in 1968 by Jerusalem mayor Teddy Kollek and has been awarded to writers from all over the world, including Mario Vargas Llosa, Nadine Gordimer, Toni Morrison, and Philip Roth.
