Józef Gosławski was a Polish sculptor, who is best known for his sculptures of the Polish presidents and other famous Poles, as well as for his coinage and medallic work. He also created a number of religious sculptures, as well as monuments and public sculptures. Gosławski was born in 1908 in Kraków, Poland. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where he was taught by Xawery Dunikowski.
