Julius Erving won three championships during his career. Erving was drafted by the Virginia Squires in the American Basketball Association (ABA) in 1971, but he played for the New York Nets for most of his career. Erving led the Nets to two ABA championships in 1974 and 1976. He then joined the Philadelphia 76ers in 1976 and led the team to an NBA championship in 1983.
