Nikita was Katarina's ring name in the Frontier Wrestling Alliance (FWA). She debuted in the FWA in 2007 and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the promotion's top stars. She held the FWA Women's Championship twice and was also a member of the FWA Tag Team Champions. Nikita left the FWA in 2010 to pursue a career in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).
