Prior to entering politics, Diane Feinstein was an attorney and television correspondent. After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles Law School in 1959, Feinstein practiced law in San Francisco for several years. In 1967, she was hired as a correspondent for KGO-TV, where she worked for 13 years.
