Between 1928 and 1930, Kazimir Malevich taught at The Ukraine Art Institute. He was a Russian artist who is best known for his work in Suprematism, a non-objective art movement that he founded. Malevich's work was often controversial, and he was criticized by both the Soviet government and the art establishment. Despite this, he continued to produce groundbreaking works of art until his death in 1935.
