Keith Tkachuk began his NHL career with the Winnipeg Jets. He was drafted first overall by the Jets in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. Tkachuk played for the Jets for six seasons, from 1991 to 1996, before being traded to the Phoenix Coyotes. He is considered one of the greatest players in Jets history, and his number 7 is retired by the team.
