Answer
Monica Lewinsky was a White House intern who had an affair with then-President Bill Clinton. In 1998, Kenneth Starr, the independent counsel investigating Clinton, interviewed Lewinsky about her relationship with the president. Lewinsky denied having a sexual relationship with Clinton, but later admitted to having lied to Starr under oath. This led to Clinton's impeachment by the House of Representatives on two counts of perjury and obstruction of justice.
