Dexys, formerly known as Dexys Midnight Runners, is an English pop and soul band formed in Birmingham in 1978. The band's name was shortened to Dexys in 2012, following the departure of several long-time members. Dexys has released six studio albums, including their critically acclaimed debut album "Searching for the Young Soul Rebels" (1980) and their UK number-one hit single "Come On Eileen" (1982).
