Park Kun received his football education from Pohang Steelers' Youth Academy. He joined the club at the age of 12 and progressed through the ranks, making his professional debut in 2009. He has since gone on to make over 100 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals. He has also represented South Korea at international level, winning the 2011 Asian Cup.
