Kid Williams was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1996. He was a professional boxer from 1917 to 1932, and is considered one of the greatest lightweights of all time. Williams won the World Lightweight Championship in 1921, and defended his title 14 times before losing it in 1925. He was also a successful boxer in the featherweight and welterweight divisions.
