Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović is a Croatian politician. She was President of Croatia from 2015 to 2020. She was the first woman to be elected to the office. Grabar-Kitarović is a member of the centre-right Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). She previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2005 to 2008 and as Ambassador to the United States from 2008 to 2011.
