Kostas Georgakis was a Greek revolutionary who fought in the Greek War of Independence. He was born in 1782 in Epirus and died in 1845 in Corfu. A monument honoring Georgakis was erected in Corfu in 1912. The monument is located in the center of the city and is made of marble.
