Answer
The Well-Tuned Piano is an unfinished improvisatory composition by the American minimalist composer Terry Riley. It was begun in 1964 and remained incomplete at the time of Riley's death in 2013. The work is scored for two pianos, and consists of a series of short, repeating melodic phrases that are played in a free-form manner. The piece has been described as "a meditation on the nature of sound and time."
