Answer
Peaceful resistance characterised Lala Lajpat Rai's opposition to the Simon Commission. Established in 1927 by the British government, the Simon Commission aimed to review India's constitutional status. However, its all-British composition sparked outrage among Indian leaders, including Rai, who viewed it as disregarding Indian opinion. Rai vehemently opposed the Commission's arrival in India and organised non-violent protests and demonstrations.
