Lawrence Harvey Brown was born on October 22, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York. He is a former professional basketball player and coach. He is the only coach to have won an NCAA championship, an NBA championship, and an Olympic gold medal. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002.
