Lars Løkke Rasmussen was the Interior and Health Minister of Denmark from 27 November 2001 to 23 November 2007. He was a member of the Liberal Party, and he served in the government of Anders Fogh Rasmussen. During his time in office, Rasmussen oversaw a number of reforms to the Danish health care system, including the introduction of a new patient rights bill.
