Lassana Diarra was a French professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He began his career at French club Le Havre before moving to English club Chelsea in 2005. He spent two seasons at Chelsea, winning the Premier League title in 2005–06. In 2007, he moved to Arsenal, where he spent four seasons. He then had spells with Portsmouth, Queens Park Rangers, Lokomotiv Moscow, Al-Jazira, and Alanyaspor.
