The Saenuri Party, formerly the Grand National Party, is a conservative political party in South Korea. It was established in 1997 through the merger of several conservative parties. The Saenuri Party has been the ruling party of South Korea for most of the past two decades. Lee Myung-bak, who served as President of South Korea from 2008 to 2013, was a member of the Saenuri Party.
