Lenny Wilkens was born on October 28, 1937. He was an American professional basketball player and coach who played 15 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Wilkens was a nine-time NBA All-Star and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a player in 1989. He also coached the Seattle SuperSonics to the NBA championship in 1979.
