Answer
Linda Lovelace's autobiography, Ordeal, was co-authored by Mike McGrady. McGrady was a journalist who had been hired by Lovelace's then-husband, Chuck Traynor, to ghostwrite the book. However, Lovelace later claimed that McGrady had taken advantage of her and had rewritten the book to make her appear more sympathetic. The book was published in 1980 and became a bestseller.
