The Australian cricket Hall of Fame was established in 1996 to recognise the outstanding achievements of Australian cricketers. Lindsay Hassett was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2003. He was a right-handed batsman and played for New South Wales and Australia from 1930 to 1949. He captained Australia in 38 Test matches and scored 6,056 runs at an average of 46.15.
