Alfred Douglas was commonly known as Bosie Douglas, or simply Bosie. He was a British poet and author, and the eldest son of the 9th Marquess of Queensberry. He was a friend and lover of the poet Oscar Wilde, and was the subject of Wilde's famous play The Picture of Dorian Gray.
