Martin Scorsese's 1990 film Goodfellas is a crime drama based on the true story of Henry Hill, a mobster who worked for the Lucchese crime family. Lorraine Bracco plays Karen Hill, Henry's wife. Goodfellas was a critical and commercial success, and was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. It won two Oscars, for Best Supporting Actor (Joe Pesci) and Best Adapted Screenplay (Nicholas Pileggi).
