Answer
Lou Andreas-Salomé was a German philosopher, writer, and psychoanalyst who was a friend of Sigmund Freud, Rainer Maria Rilke, Friedrich Nietzsche, and other prominent intellectuals of her time. However, Albert Einstein was not one of her friends. The two met only once, in 1909, and did not get along well. Einstein found Salomé's ideas to be too mystical and unscientific, while Salomé found Einstein to be cold and arrogant.
