Lou Holtz was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008. He was a successful college football coach, with a career record of 329-132-7. He coached at six different universities, and won a national championship at Notre Dame in 1988. He was also inducted into the Notre Dame Hall of Fame in 1993.
