Nick Saban won two AFL championships during his time as head coach of the Birmingham Stallions. He led the team to victory in 1987 and 1991, becoming the only coach in AFL history to win multiple championships. Saban's success in the AFL paved the way for his eventual move to the NFL, where he has won seven Super Bowls as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots.
