Louis Kahn worked both alone and as part of a team. He founded his own firm, Louis I. Kahn and Associates, in 1949, and worked with a number of different architects and engineers throughout his career. He also collaborated with artists, such as Robert Motherwell and Isamu Noguchi, on a number of projects.
