Did Louis VII have any female heirs?

  • Yes

  • No

Answer

Louis VII of France did not produce any female heirs during his lifetime. His first marriage to Eleanor of Aquitaine produced two daughters, but both died in infancy. His subsequent marriages failed to produce any surviving children. As a result, the Capetian throne passed to his son from his second wife, Philip II, upon Louis VII's death in 1180.
