Ľubomír Moravčík played as a midfielder. He was a creative and technically gifted player who was capable of playing both as an attacking midfielder and as a deep-lying playmaker. He was also a good goalscorer, having scored over 100 goals in his career. Moravčík was capped 50 times by Czechoslovakia and scored 11 goals. He also represented Slovakia at the 1998 World Cup.
