Lucrezia Borgia served as the Governor of Spoleto from 1500 to 1503. She was the daughter of Pope Alexander VI and Vannozza Cattanei. She was married to Giovanni Sforza in 1493, but the marriage was annulled in 1497. She then married Alfonso d'Este in 1502. Lucrezia was a skilled politician and administrator. She was able to maintain peace in Spoleto during her time as Governor.
