Ludwig Ferdinand Huber died on 24 December 1804. He was a German poet and novelist, and a leading figure of the Storm and Stress movement. His most famous work is "Die Abenteuer des Baron Münchhausen" (1785), a satirical novel about the fictional Baron Münchhausen.
