Ludwig von Mises had about 70 close students in Austria. Some of them included Friedrich Hayek, who later became a Nobel Prize winner, and Murray Rothbard, who went on to found the Austrian school of economics. Mises's students were influential in spreading his ideas throughout the world and in helping to shape the modern Austrian school of economics.
