Answer
Magnus Olafsson, known as Magnus Barefoot, was a Norwegian king who ruled from 1093 to 1103. He was the son of Olaf III the Quiet and Thora Thorbergsdatter. Magnus's nickname, "Barefoot," is thought to have come from his habit of going barefoot on pilgrimage to Jerusalem. He was a skilled warrior and led several successful military campaigns, including the conquest of the Hebrides and the Isle of Man.
