Malcolm Orme Little, known as Malcolm X, served in two wars: World War II and the Korean War. During World War II, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in the 761st Tank Battalion. After the war, he joined the Nation of Islam and became a prominent civil rights activist. In 1951, he was drafted into the Korean War and served in the 32nd Infantry Regiment.
